​Lorenzo has many years of experience in both club and radio DJing, having performed at a wide range of venues including Corsica Studios, Brilliant Corners, Giant Steps, Oval Space, Dimensions Festival, Total Refreshment Centre, Mick's Garage, Jazz Cafe, Spiritland, Five Miles, Ghost Notes, and Bussey Building...

 

He has collaborated with a variety of promoters and DJs such as Charlie Bones, Alex Nut, Andrew Ashong, Dego, Benji B & Judah, Secretsundaze, and Cheeky Soundsystem. His radio appearances include respected platforms like Do!!You!!! Radio, Balamii, Red Light Radio, NTS, and many others.

In this workshop, we’d like to share not only the fundamentals of DJing "from scratch" but also explore how to listen and select records for your sets in a more creative and expressive way. Together, we’ll push beyond the boundaries of beatmatching and bring more color and personality into your mixes.

​

The sessions are individual and open to participants aged 16 and over, though younger DJs may be considered. They will take place here at the shop, 260a Brockley Rd., SE4 2SF, combining theory in the ideal setting - a record shop - with practical, hands-on experience using industry-standard equipment: Technics 1200 MK2 turntables and either a Pioneer DJM-400 or an E&S DJR 200 mixer.
